I am deeply saddened by learn of the tragic shooting incident that occurred in Tumbler Ridge, B.C., in western Canada.

I extend my deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in this incident, and wish a swift recovery to all those who were injured.

On behalf of the Republic of Korea, I convey my heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and to the people of Canada who are mourning this profound loss.
